Oxford Immunotec is a medical diagnostics company developing novel new tests for various diseases based on its innovative, patented T cell measurement technology. The company's leading product is the T-SPOT.TB test, a cellular blood test for the detection of active and latent TB infection.

We currently have two vacancies:
Development Scientist
As a Development Scientist you will be responsible for the day to day running of a number of projects directed at improvements in our current assays and the identification of further opportunities and applications for the T-SPOT technology. A background in project management, problem solving and analytical skills coupled with a proven ability to deliver against project timelines are key requirements of the role.
Ideally you will have in depth experience and knowledge in the Research and Development of an immunology product in addition to excellent communications skills. The role requires a PhD in a related subject such as Immunology and you must be able to demonstrate an ability to work in multi disciplinary teams.
Junior Production Scientist
You will be part of a small production team responsible for the manufacture of company products working within GLP, GMP and ISO standards. You will be expected to ensure that production runs are completed to agreed timelines, communicate delays to colleagues, respond to customer requirements, liaise with suppliers and be responsible for day to day stock control.
In addition you will be responsible to contributing to the validation of new processes, and written processes and procedures.
You will be a graduate or have relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or diagnostics industry working within an SOP driven environment. This position is ideally suited to those who wish to pursue a career in Production.
